Today we will see a flat. It's got great tall ceilings, a garden, and it is not up three flights of stairs. Just what we are looking for. It's right in the middle of town. It has no bathroom.
This flat has a loo in a separate room, like all flats do. Then there is a shower set into a wall off the kitchen (just past the stove) with no door, set back far enough so it looks like if someone were having a shower while you were making dinner there wouldn't be any spray getting on the cooker (stove top). There are two big bedrooms downstairs, with ceilings so low the gentleman who owns the flat hit his head on the way down to show me.
We meet tomorrow to discuss the possible addition of a real bathroom, with a bathtub and possibly a sink.

That shower arrangement sounds so wierd.
Wouldn't Rob have a problem with the ceilings of the bedrooms as well? But I can see that the location would be really tempting!
False alarm, they decided to go with another tenant who didn't mind the shower in the kitchen!
I'm rather pleased not to have to attempt it to be honest! Though it would be nice to have a place sorted.
